Located in the enchanting setting of historic 18th century Bannister’s Wharf, this quaint facility was one of the first marinas in Newport and a host to the America’s Cup yachts. Owner and boat lover David Ray masterfully restored this charming place more than 30 years ago to create the feel of a bygone era. Today Bannister’s Wharf is a favorite of distinctive guests and professionally crewed yachts. It is also the bustling hub and social heart of Newport, for visitors and locals alike.  The docks are located behind a quaint white fence, at the very end of the Wharf and away from the summer bustle. Dockmaster Jim McCarthy and his team offer a first class service.
