Or to give it the correct Spanish title, Copa del Rey; The Kings Cup Regatta was first held in 1982, and has built up a reputation as a showcase event for top class racing teams. A week of racing and socializing is topped off with the gala prize giving dinner, usually attended by members of the Spanish Royal family.
