The Golfe de St Florent, at the west side of Cap Corse, offers a well protected anchorage (except when the north winds are blowing!). Founded by the Romans and known as a flourishing medieval port, St Florent is a gorgeous harbour and has many historic sites, a wide selection of restaurants, cafés and shops. The region is renowned for its wines, especially the Patrimonio’s village wines.
