Henri Matisse, who lived many years in Nice, donated some of his paintings to the city, today gathered in a beautiful 17th century Italian villa. The collection gives a good overview of Matisse’s work and reveals some of Matisse’s daily life items, as well as a series of black and white pictures of the artist. Closed Tuesdays.
