Palma’s Decathlon is just over the Via Cintura at the Puigpunyent junction.
For the un-initiated, Decathlon is a sports superstore offering good, functional sporting goods for amateurs at a reasonable price. Most sports are represented, from kayaking to football via cycling and weightlifting, without forgetting angling, tennis or golf.

Mallorca is no surfing Mecca, but there are a few spots that are worth a try. These include Paguera on the way to Andratx, Alcanada, Cala Mesquida and Canyamel to the east. All are fairly distant from Palma town, so a good look at the weather map is essential. The best season is said to be September till May.
Cala Mesquida
Cala Mesquida close to the resort of Capdepera is one of Mallorca’s hotter surfing spots.
A surf school established here reportedly does some rentals.
