Considered one of the most beautiful natural harbors in the world, Marblehead is deeply rooted in a long maritime history. This quintessential New England port, with its narrow streets lined with century old captain’s house, nice restaurants and shops, is a great place to visit for transient yachts.
Marblehead Harbor is exposed to the Northeast and has a maximum 13ft draft. The inner harbor is very busy in the summer; large vessels commonly anchor just outside of the mooring field. The 3 major yacht clubs are currently in control of the transient moorings however transient boats can count on the Harbormaster Webb Russell and his team to help in any way.
