We know, we know… You loved our yearly printed guides, filled with updated info about your favorite cruising destinations and gorgeous photos from professional photographers. They were flying off the shelves in marinas, boatyards and marine outlets, all over the harbors we covered. Many of you were even collecting them, summer after summer. And it is true that, since the launch of the Yacht Insider’s Guide publication in 2009, whether it was for the French Med, the Balearics Islands or New England, the focus has been on our printed guides.

Calvi is a must stop while cruising around Corsica. Its beautiful citadel, pleasant marina, wonderful beach and landscape make it a first class destination. It is home of renowned hotels and restaurants, fun night life and a whole lot more. Calvi is also a divers favorite for its excellent dive spots, including wreck diving. The region is surrounded by vineyards and mountains offering breathtaking views of the sea and valley. Villages like Pigna, Corbara and San Antonino, rated as being as one the nicest medieval towns in France, are located close by. It is possible to anchor in the bay, well sheltered except for northerly winds. With the sun on the mountains and the citadel as a landmark, the approach to Calvi port at dawn is magical.
