Yacht Insider’s Guide Is Going Digital Only

June 19, 2022

We know, we know…   You loved our yearly printed guides, filled with updated info about your favorite cruising destinations and gorgeous photos from professional photographers.   They were flying off the shelves in marinas, boatyards and marine outlets, all over the harbors we covered.  Many of you were even collecting them, summer after summer.  And it is true that, since the launch of the Yacht Insider’s Guide publication in 2009, whether it was for the French Med, the Balearics Islands or New England, the focus has been on our printed guides.

But after a 2 years hiatus, due to obvious reason (hello Covid!), we have decided to go fully online.   And the future of the publication is exciting!

We are going to add new destinations, news from listed services, and events in the areas we write about. Plus lots of photos and videos of harbors, marinas, yacht refits from shipyards, hotels, attractions, cruising grounds and more.

It is going to become an interactive platform, giving you access to the latest information and reaching a wider and global audience.

We will also have contributions from captains, who will share their cruising experiences, itinerary suggestions and tips about worldwide destinations.

Last but not least, it is the eco-friendly way to go. Sustainability has always been a major concern for us, and it is the reason why all our guides were printed on Forest Stewardship Council certified paper.  But from now on, no more paper, ink and heavy boxes to transport!

So welcome to a new, upgraded, version of the Yacht Insider’s Guide. Please don’t hesitate to contact us for any suggestion, comment or recommendation, as this site’s purpose is to make your yachting and cruising experiences as enjoyable as possible.

And if you still have previous editions of our printed guides, keep them! They are now collector’s items!

Safe travels and fair winds.
