Newport is considered by most to be the yachting capitol of the U.S. Once a busy colonial seaport built around a large, protected harbor, the town is now a thriving year-round yachting community with a large choice of first class marinas, a world renowned shipyard, a wide range of qualified technicians and top notch provisioning options. Gates Open to 53rd Event September 12th at 10 a.m.
Newport, R.I. – Newport International Boat Show announced today its 53rd event will take place September 12-15, 2024 at the Newport Yachting Center Marina in downtown Newport, Rhode Island.
Over the last decade, New England, known for its rich maritime heritage, has lured an increasing number of charter yachts to its shores.
The region, stretching from Maine to Connecticut, offers a choice of quaint seaside villages, picturesque harbors and first class marinas to yachts cruising along its coastline.
Each year at the end of June, a number of premium yachts gather in RI for the Newport Charter Yacht Show.
Sheltered in Narragansett Bay, and slotted neatly in the Boston to New York corridor of power, Newport is hotspot for the world’s wealthiest in-crowd that love messing about on boats. Naturally, it's the start and finishing point for many New England charters and that's why it's the host port for the annual charter show, which returns next week from 23 to 26 June 2024.
Once again, the Newport Charter Yacht Show offered a wonderful opportunity to connect with colleagues and friends, to meet first class crews and to visit some of the world's top yachts available for charter.
