First and only 100% vegan eatery and juice bar in Newport. A wonderful and much needed addition to the restaurant scene. They have a lot of delicious raw juices and smoothies choices made on demand. The kitchen menu is fantastic and super creative. It includes breakfast choices such as acai bowls, granola and fresh fruits. They also offer a myriad of wraps, sandwiches, soups, salads, 'warrior bowls' and their must try breakfast sandwich with vegan egg, cheese, avocado on warm English muffin. Everything is made fresh daily and in house. The accent is on healthy yet delicious food, most of the menu is gluten free.  The ambience is inviting and casual. There is plenty of comfortable seating. The staff is very knowledgeable and friendly. The portions are generous and prices are very affordable. Root is ideally located at the beginning of Broadway, in the heart of town.
