St Barth is for many “l’ile par excellence”! Tiny St. Barth is the jewel of the French West Indies and has long been a favourite of sophisticated international travelers, jet setters and successful businessmen who come for its beauty, ambiance and casual elegance. Year after year, it attracts the highest concentration of Superyachts in the Caribbean, whose owners and guests appreciate its very French, stylish and sophisticated ambiance mixed with some charming Swedish touches which originated from its interesting early history.

Besides its gorgeous white sand beaches, fine dining in chic restaurants and world class shopping at trendy boutiques, St Barth also offers a selection of first class Superyacht services. Here, Captains and crew can find everything: from top class provisioners, fine wine, beautiful flower arrangements, luxurious spa for their guests, and the help of really superb 'Yacht Services' agents, used by the majority of visiting yachts - with all the inside island knowledge one could wish for. The New Year's Eve Regatta (see 'Regattas' section) along with the amazing street party with live bands and fireworks, makes good enough reason of its own to 'see the New Year in' here. St Barth also hosts – at the end of March – one of the most ‘sought after’ regattas on the ‘worldwide’ Superyacht calendar… The St.Barth Bucket, one of the most friendly, social - yet exclusive – events not to be missed! St Barth, as its legions of devotees attest, is one of the Caribbean’s most unique islands and a truly special place to visit.

As anyone in the industry will tell you, the 2017-18 Caribbean yacht season was tough going. The subsequent hits of Hurricane Irma and Maria devastated many of the Caribbean’s yachting hotspots, such as the BVI’s, St Maarten, and ever-popular St Barts.

This young and dynamic American advocates, with a bright smile, the benefits of a healthy, ethical, and most importantly, joyful diet!

AVH: Kristine, how did you become passionate about plant-based and raw food?
