HOTELS / INNS

Set at the foot of the Tramuntana Mountain Range, Port de Soller is the only all weather harbour along the wild and spectacular Mallorquin north west coast. Dominated by steep hillsides, the port is at the head of a fertile valley, a few miles away from Soller town further inland. This is an ideal base for exploring the surrounding mountains and coastline, on foot or by road. There are countless excursion opportunities in the area, whether towards beautiful villages perched high above the coast, along scenic mountain roads or simply on the old tram and train towards Palma. The picturesque Port de Soller is situated in a well-sheltered bay and is only a little more than half an hour away from Palma by road; it can be a good base for those seeking tranquility and wishing to avoid the busy hustle and bustle of Palma harbour.
