Lyman-Morse also have a facility in Tenants Harbor (10 miles down the peninsula from their Thomaston yard) where they have several moorings for yachts up to 50’, 170’ of dock space, showers, hi-speed internet, radio monitoring and service capabilities open 7 days/week in summer. This is a good place for cruisers, as it is easily accessible and scenic. There is also a chandlery, fuel, restaurants and lodging within walking distance.
Rockport Marine is a shipyard and a yacht builder known internationally for the quality of its work, especially on wooden boats. It is located only two miles by car from Camden, at the head of Rockport Harbor, in one of the region’s most scenic and well protected bays (exposed to the south). They have several berths and moorings available for transient yachts, making the perfect spot for those wanting to explore the region while staying away from the summer bustle of Camden.
