For any yachts in Le Marin or St. Anne, this waterfront restaurant really makes for an enjoyable run ashore. From their lovely waterfront setting, on the beach of Pointe Marin in St.Anne their highly friendly staff serve delicious French / Creole cuisine, in a very pleasant ‘Key West’ ambience.
They specialize in seafood and have live lobsters. Restaurant owner Madi Ouzid came highly recommended again last season, for his helpful approach and friendly service... and we picked up specifically good feedback for their 'Conch Ceviche' and their lobster ‘flambée au rhum’!
This heavenly hideaway, located in the country hillside of Le Francois, on the Atlantic coast is one of the nicest hotel / guest houses in Martinique. They have recently undergone a complete transformation, and the existing accommodations in Creole cases (cottages), painted red, purple, and subtle earth tones, have been enlarged, soundproofed, completely refurnished, and given updated bathrooms and terraces that maximize the glorious sea view.

Ideally located just across the road from Marin Yacht Harbour Marina, this great place is open non stop, 6 days a week (closed Mondays). They serve a delicious choice of creative French Creole cuisine and the menu, written on a black board, changes daily. It also includes home made pizzas and delicious and artistically decorated desserts, especially molten chocolate cake or crepes.

This specialist supplier of the finest French wines and grocery products is a place not to be missed while in Martinique. It comes highly recommended to us each year, as one of those perfect little 'dedicated' French stores, that has all the most specific, high quality French products... you could only ever find in France! Chateau Latour vintage wines, Deutz champagne (that cannot be bought anywhere else in Martinique), smoked salmon, caviar, les pelures de Truffes, plus Ediard and Valette products.
This is the Cap Est Lagoon Resort 'restaurant gastronomique' (see 'Hotel / Resorts' section), that came recommended as one of the best on island. To really experience this place, start with a sumptuous cocktail in the super-chic bar lined with black-and-white photographs. The menu changes seasonally and the dishes come presented by a bevy of stylish servers.

The only place in the area focusing on healthy yet flavorful cuisine, using local, seasonal and minimally processed ingredients. Large selection of vegan options, including cakes and desserts. They also serve fresh fish and more. Welcoming staff, reasonable prices. Call for hours. A must try!
