Es Verge

Also called “the lamb restaurant” amongst yachties, Es Verge is situated half way up the mountain between Alaro village and Alaro Castle, and is accessed by a small rocky road. The restaurant is in an old farmhouse and serves mostly lamb dishes, cooked in the oven or barbecued. The atmosphere is very rustic and simple, portions are huge, and prices very reasonable. Not a fine dining experience but a truly enjoyable country outing. It is one of those places you have to go to, just for the experience.
