More about us...

Linda Revill runs the highly regarded Aigua Sea School in Palma de Mallorca. Situated in the ‘yachtie hub’ of Santa Catalina in Palma, Aigua has built a solid reputation based on a personalised approach to training. Whilst the school specialises in Yachtmaster, and crew training that includes Powerboat Level 2 and the supporting technical courses of VHF/DSC marine radio, Radar, Diesel Engine, First Aid and Sea Survival, they also provide superb leisure courses such as Day Skipper and Competent Crew. In addition to their extremely high training standards, it is the complimentary training support that Aigua is appreciated for: Aigua provides free-of-charge theory workshops to help their Yachtmaster students prepare for the demanding course syllabus; Aigua produces regular newsletters that bring news of changes in training and certification; Aigua provides support for the Professional Practices and Responsibilities course (PPR) now mandatory on all commercial endorsements. Aigua Sea School has recently opened a new ‘technical training centre’ across the road from the school HQ on C/San Magin in Santa Catalina. The new centre will run the specialist courses of radar, VHF/DSC radio, Elementary First Aid, Basic Sea Survival and Diesel Engine. Industry training specialists such as MedAire (STCW'95 training providers recognised by the Maritime and Coastguard Agency and U.S. Coast Guard) will be invited by the school to run professional First Aid training to meet the stringent industry requirements of medical care at sea. The school has opened a new centre in Malta to bring their high level of training quality to a second Mediterranean island.
