Ideally located within the marina of Bas du Fort, Karukera (the original Caribbean Indian name for Guadeloupe) Marine is a very well established chandlery that has been in business for over 35 years! Jean Claude Guisbert is the really lovely gentleman behind the wheel and with his son assisting, they go beyond themselves to ‘make their clients stay in Guadeloupe as easy and enjoyable as possible’. They carry a good range of regular chandlery, including safety equipment, hoses, fenders, anchors, bbq's, nautical publications, running rigging, paint / varnish...plus a selection of quality decoration items such as brass lamps, bells, clocks and barometers and a lot more. They also specialize in fishing equipment and dive gear / accessories, and are importers of Sea Ray and Scout. They have a good stock of items, but do not hesitate to order any special need directly through Jean Claude, who can usually be found in his office upstairs.
