This is a private island - with a beautiful colonial guest house, 4 bedrooms (with fans), a private pontoon, restaurant and bar. La Maison de L'Ilet Oscar came highly recommended by a number of yachts again last season, who had sailed down the windward side of the island - with owners / guests aboard, and then anchored in the calm waters inside the reef... accessing the island with their tender. The guests had then thoroughly enjoyed the good food at the restaurant, and the privacy and seclusion of the island... "as a wonderful place to stop and relax. “The perfect getaway... far from everything!" Full board is available, though it is also possible just to come for lunch, and spend the day there. Reservations are compulsory and a 'pick up' by a local fisherman can be organized, with a spectacular 15 minute ride on the lagoon, out on the windward side of Martinique!
