Santa Catalina Market
In the Santa Catalina area of town (that is immediately to the west of the old town on Palma harbour across Argentina Avenue), this municipal market is open on weekdays and Saturday mornings. This is mainly a fruit and veg market, but meat and fish are available as well. This is the closest and most convenient market for yachts moored at any of the harbour’s many marinas.

Mercado Municipal Olivar
A few hundred yards to the south west of the Plaza d’Espanya towards the old town, is one of Palma’s largest municipal Markets. It is open Monday to Saturday, mornings only. Although further away from the harbour than the Santa Catalina Market, choice is reputedly larger on all types of products, whether fruit and vegetables, meats and hams or fish. The market is worth a visit in its own right for its ambience and local colour.
