Aix en Provence

Elegant town, dating from the Roman times located 30 minutes’ drive from Marseille. Nicknamed the city of a thousand fountains, it used to be the capitol of Provence. Renowned for its distinguished and aristocratic charm, its 17th century mansions, numerous museums and historic monuments. A very popular music festival is held here every July.  Aix also has a choice of nice restaurants, stores and 2 cinemas showing films in original version.

Les Baux de Provence

One of the most dramatic medieval perched village in Provence, situated about 1h and a half NW from Marseille. The view on top of this car- free village - of less than 400 inhabitants-  is absolutely breathtaking, overlooking the alpine hills and countryside.  Some houses are carved into the rocks and the mineral atmosphere of the site is incredibly majestic. Le Prince Noir

One of the most charming guest houses in Provence located at the top of the village, with amazing views of the Val d’Enfer.
