A milestone for Carenantilles Shipyard!
A new milestone has been reached a few days ago in the Caribbean when Carenantilles Shipyard in Martinique hauled out a 400 ton yacht.
It is the first time that a boat of this weight has ever been hauled out with a travelift in the Caribbean. The captain and the owner were really pleased with the responsiveness and professionalism of the shipyard's technicians.
The 150 ft yacht needed emergency repair work done on its stern tube system and stayed 5 days at the shipyard.
Newly renovated Carenantilles Shipyard operates a massive 440ton travelift in their state-of-the-art facility and is perfectly equipped to service the needs of Superyachts, whether cruising or undergoing repairs.
