The Newport Charter Yacht Show, presented by Helly Hansen Newport, opens on Tuesday, June 22 for registered charter brokers and marine industry professionals from around the country and we are excited to also welcome charter brokers from the Antigua & the Bahamas!
Located in the heart of Newport, the Newport Charter Yacht Show is the only crewed charter show in the United States and will feature luxury sailing and motor vessels from 60 feet and over.

The Newport Charter Yacht Show features three full days of yacht display, along with industry meetings and seminars hosted by the American Yacht Charter Association (AYCA). The AYCA’s educational seminar breakfast takes place Thursday, June 24 from 8:00am-12:00pm at Safe Harbor Newport Shipyard.

Adam’s career in the marine industry began in 1992 he has since found himself based in the Caribbean for the past 15 years and successfully reopened Rodney Bay Marina in Saint Lucia and Blue Haven Marina in Turks and Caicos. Currently, Adam is the CEO at South Bank Marina and Boatyard in Turks and Caicos where the site is undergoing a significant development including new marina infrastructure, a new fuel system and a highly anticipated waterfront residential development.

Prior to joining the BTA, Trueblood held a senior Destination Marketing role with the Nassau Paradise Island Promotion Board creating awareness worldwide for the destination of Nassau Paradise Island, The Bahamas.
THE INTERNATIONAL SEAKEEPERS SOCIETY
The International SeaKeepers Society is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization that facilitates marine research, conservation efforts, and education by linking the yachting and boating community with the science and conservation community. SeaKeepers’ DISCOVERY Yacht Program has made these research expeditions possible by finding yacht owners and yacht crews that are willing to donate time aboard their vessel. That is only one facet of SeaKeepers. There are also citizen science initiatives that activate yachts and boats for data collection or instrument deployment without the need for a science team on board. We have community engagement programs which make sure that our local beaches, islands, and waterways are kept free of marine debris.
Tony is a Miami native who has always had a love for the ocean. Most summers were spent in the Florida Keys, sailing, fishing, and wakeboarding. After pursuing and receiving a law degree, his diverse background, experience, and love for the natural world led him back to the ocean as the Program Director of The International SeaKeepers Society where he engages with the yachting community in the pursuit of scientific research, education, and conservation of our oceans.
