Le Caroubier is a very attractive shop located since the 1960’s on Beaulieu’s main road, a short walk away from the marina. The shop displays a vast choice of typical and colourful Provencal craft. Provençal tablecloths, bags, ceramics and handmade accessories can be found there and several stewardesses recommended Le Caroubier as a nice place to buy typical decoration items. Nice has a 7km long beach stretching along Promenade des Anglais, with private and public parts. Note that the beach is covered by smooth pebbles, but the water is clear and very clean.
Take the time to stroll around the old town that still retains its authentic character with narrow streets and laundry hanging in the windows. Stretching along the beach and Baie des Anges, from the Vieux Port to Nice airport, is the legendary 7 miles long Promenade des Anglais. A favourite of walkers, joggers, bikers and inline skaters.
