Almudaina Palace Museum

Next door to the Cathedral, this Moorish Palace was originally built as a Citadel, and became the residence of Mallorcan Kings from the 14thC. It is still today the official residence of the King and Queen of Spain.
The main highlights are the separate Kings and Queens quarters, the Great Hall and St. Anne’s Chapel.

Musée de l’Annonciade

Set in a 16th century chapel facing the harbour, this museum is a vivid reminder that St Tropez was a major 'avant garde' artistic community at the beginning of the 20th century. Very attractive selection of paintings from the Pointillist, Nabist, Fauvist and Expressionists periods. Closed on Tuesdays.

Musée Picasso

A museum housed in the magnificent medieval Château Grimaldi, in Old Antibes, where Picasso used to have his studio. Showcases painting, sculptures and drawings of contemporary style artists, including many from Picasso. Closed on Mon.

Fort Carré

The 16th century fortress dominating the Port Vauban can be visited only on guided tours in French or English. The interesting tour lasts about 30min, and the view from the fort on Antibes and the Alps on the other side is just breathtaking. The Fort is surrounded by a 4 acres park open to the public.
