Le Rocher de Malendure

This restaurant - located above the beach of Malendure, near the Cousteau Marine Park, has a good reputation. They specialize in seafood and have a live lobster tank. They can be reached on VHF Channel 72 for reservation. They are open for lunch and dinner and are closed on Wednesdays.

Le Poisson Rouge

This ‘table d’hote’ part of the Tendacayou guest house is an absolute ‘must try’ whilst in the Caribbean. Located a few minutes drive above Deshaies, overlooking the Caribbean sea, nestled in tropical vegetation and flowers, this open place is just enchanting! The decoration is unique… colourful and simple but cozy, mixing wood, recycled materials and nautical artifacts (they even have a fireplace and a library).

La Toubana Restaurant

This wonderful restaurant, part of La Toubana hotel came recommended for its excellent food and service. The menu is very creative and the plates are artfully decorated. The setting is exceptional, overlooking the ocean, with some distant islands in the back. At night, the beautifully illuminated infinity pool adds to the romantic atmosphere of this gorgeous place.

L'Amer

Situated just 50 metres (turning left) from the dinghy dock in Deshaies, on Rue de la Vague Bleu; this restaurant came highly reviewed for it's quaint location, good service and lovely food. It has an intimate setting on a wooden deck, overlooking the water. Credit cards are not accepted... cash only.

Cote Jardin

This is one of the best acclaimed restaurants in Guadeloupe. Cote Jardin is located within the marina and they serve quality French cuisine in a light informal 'Provencale' atmosphere; and have an extensive high quality wine list. The restaurant is open for lunch and dinner, and closed on Saturday for lunch and all day Sunday. Reservations are recommended, as this place is very popular.

Asia

This lovely restaurant, beautifully located on the water at the entrance of Marina Bas du Fort (by the Club Nautique) is a local favourite. Run by the friendliest Vietnamese family including Anne Marie, Pin Pin and Loan; the setting is wonderful, with a nice covered terrace, plants, teak furniture and a flamboyant in the middle. They offer a large choice of Asian delights, especially Vietnamese. It really makes a great place to come and enjoy some nice authentic Asian food, with the sound of the surf in the background. They are closed Sundays and Mondays.

Zoo Rock Café

Zoo Rock Café has a trendy, fun and relaxed atmosphere. They have live band playing and DJ for late night raving. They also serve good food, especially their famous huge meat or fish kebabs that can be enjoyed on the terrace. The Zoo Rock Café is ideally located within the Marina Bas-du-Fort complex and is open daily from 1900hrs.

La Cafeiere Beausejour

This authentic 18th century colonial house nested in a tropical park offers a great opportunity to ‘go back in time’. Once a 200 acre coffee plantation, it is now a museum showing original coffee artifacts from around the world - tastefully displayed - and the elegant simplicity of the family fine Mahogany furnishings help create a most charming atmosphere. It is a nice place to visit, offering panoramic views of the Caribbean Sea.

Nikki Beach

Nikki Beach internationally caters to the modern, jet setting and VIP clientele. Here in St Barth, they are located right on St.Jean beach and one can enjoy a meal with toes in the sand! Offerings range from French to Italian to Japanese including a large sushi menu and more… The whole style of the place is Indonesian simplicity... and after enjoying their delicious food and spectacular location, one can chill out on one of their 'private' double beds overlooking the beach! They open from 1100hrs daily, and have a shuttle service available.

Mayas

Located in La plage de Public, the bay just north of Gustavia's main harbour, Mayas has a lovely setting at the water’s edge and continues to be a favourite of many yachts. Mayas is a local institution and one of the first restaurants on the island. The atmosphere is chic, elegant, and comfortable and one can enjoy a delightful sunset cocktail, excellent food and great sunset views (with ‘Sunset drinks’ from 1600hrs). The menu includes fresh fish, grilled meats, Créole dishes, and exotic daily specials and traditional West Indian orange cake or coconut pie.
