Located in the Marin Marina, this spacious and attractively organized chandlery is one of the most popular and busiest services in Le Marin. Le Ship was created more than 10 years ago by the charismatic Viviane Caillot, an experienced sailor herself, who arrived in the Caribbean with her family on a yacht. Besides being very friendly and perfectly bilingual, every one of the female staff of Le Ship, including Julie, Viviane’s daughter, used to be professional crewmembers.

This specialist supplier of the finest French wines and grocery products is a place not to be missed while in Martinique. It comes highly recommended to us each year, as one of those perfect little 'dedicated' French stores, that has all the most specific, high quality French products... you could only ever find in France! Chateau Latour vintage wines, Deutz champagne (that cannot be bought anywhere else in Martinique), smoked salmon, caviar, les pelures de Truffes, plus Ediard and Valette products.
