Originally built in 1928 in pure Tyroleon style as the summer headquarters of the Italian occupational forces, this hotel, set in the middle of a pine forest near the summit of Mount Profitis Illias, was renovated several years ago thus ending a 30 year spell of neglect. This is an ideal spot to wind down in the cooler summer air, go for walks on the old Italian built footpaths and enjoy the view.
