This outdoor company runs two shops, one in Soller itself and one in the port. They organise excursions in the mountains, and specialize in hiking, mountain biking, canyoning and sea kayaking. A very good option for those who have limited time and lack local knowledge and equipment.

Hiking/Climbing/Canyoning in Mallorca, Soller

Soller is a good base for hikes along the Sierra Tramuntana and along the north coast. The GR 221 goes through here, and there are many other hiking options along the north coast, and quite a few local summits to be climbed.

Note that the Sierra Tramuntana is over 90% privately owned, and that right of way is an issue; visitors are therefore better off sticking to the main, recognised trails.

Biking in Mallorca, Soller

Biking is very popular all over the island. Mallorca is in fact a winter training ground for many professional cyclists. Soller is within cycling distance from Palma on bike, but note that the road tunnel linking both towns is not open to bicycles, nor is it possible to load your bike on the Soller trains. However, buses will take a few bicycles on board. Many local hotels in the area have mountain bikes for hire. While the 'on road' routes are limited to the few main roads on this side of the island, the off road options are numerous...but often involve quite a bit of bicycle carrying.

Canyoning in Mallorca

Mallorca is a popular place for canyoning; there are at least a dozen canyons in the sierra tramuntana, representing all levels of difficulty, and culminating with the canyon of Gorg Blau (Sa Fosca) which ranks amongst the top ten 'to do' canyons in the world. Tramuntana tours organises canyoning outings on request.

Sa Fira & Es Firo Soller

This two-day event during the second week of May commemorates the battle in Port de Soller against the invading Moors on May 11th 1561. Sunday is a traditional market, with local produce and livestock, followed by Es Firo on the Monday, a re-enactment mock battle ending triumphantly and noisily in the main square.
