Located a short walk from the village, this wonderful Creole style cottage - set amidst tropical vegetation - offers a panoramic views over Les Saintes' Bay, and is a unique place in the Caribbean. They have a nice pool overlooking the bay, offering the perfect place to relax and forget the hustle of everyday life.
Few places in the world are ‘absolutely magical’… and yet Tendacayou is one of them! This guest house - located above Deshaies - is a unique and fabulous place, and guests from all around the world are coming to Guadeloupe just to enjoy it! The owners, Sylvie and Georges Clement, are the most welcoming hosts one could wish for, and their guest house - entirely built by Georges - is just amazing. They have 10 Brightly-coloured gingerbread cottages, most of them built in the trees!
This charming – and recently completely renovated - hotel is located at the entrance of Ste Anne, one of the nicest villages in Guadeloupe. The setting is quite exceptional, with breathtaking views of the Caribbean Sea and islands of Marie Gallante and Les Saintes. 32 pleasant bungalows are nestled into the middle of a tropical garden, and the rooms are comfortable and tastefully decorated. The hotel also features an excellent restaurant, a huge overflowing swimming pool set above the ocean, and a ‘state of the art’ spa.
Designed by the famed Parisian architect Christian Liaigre, Le Sereno is an intimate elegant sanctuary, a beachfront gem, with 37 exquisitely furnished suites and villas. It is located on the east of the island – with 200 metres of beautiful beach – on the picturesque Grand Cul de Sac, a turquoise cove, protected from the ocean by a coral reef. Le Sereno is a haven of serenity and sublime beauty, and offers a superb restaurant, a lounge bar, 24hr room service, a beach club with staff, fresh water swimming pool, spa, and Blanc Bleu Boutique.
Eden Rock evolved from an imaginatively sited house built more than fifty years ago by local adventurer Remy De Haenen, to become a few years later the first hotel on the island. Part of the prestigious ‘Relais et Chateaux’ group, this delightful resort is set on a rock, right above the water in the Baie de Saint-Jean on the edge of a perfect long white sandy beach. It also has two fine restaurants (one on the beach, and one on top of 'the rock' with a view)... that also came highly recommended (reservations requested).
