A good number of hardware stores can be found in these three industrial areas just on the other side of the Via Cintura, about 20 minutes away from the harbour. Most things can be found here, although it can take quite some time to locate the appropriate shop for a specific Item, especially for non-Spanish speakers.
It is sometimes easier to use one of the part sourcing companies or mobile chandlers to find what you require.
Herve Ferrari is the friendly gentleman who runs this very useful chandlery. Located within the Carenantilles boatyard, the Carene Shop is accessible by tender or a short ride from the Marin Marina.
Sea Services is the well established and stocked chandlery located Rue Deproge in Fort de France, within walking distance from the waterfront. Run by Jacques Bardyn and Ciarla Decker - both fluent in English - it is a landmark for any Superyacht stopping in Fort de France.

They represent the French catalogue - USHIP - and came particularly recommended for their range of well priced water toys and watersports equipment including kayaks, inflatable tows and bananas, diving equipment and fishing gear. USHIP also has a good stock of safety equipment such as liferafts, lifejackets, harnesses, flares and EPIRBS.
Clippers Ship chandlery, located at the Artimer Zone in Marin, is the largest chandlery in Martinique, offering a a vast range of products for their yachting clientele as well as for maritime professionals. They offer a very large choice of marine plywood, tubing, aluminum and stainless steel sheets , stainless steel screws plus electronics, professional fishing equipment, trailers, inflatable dinghies, marine generators, ropes, winches and deck handware.
