This is the main maintenance company in La Rapita Yacht Club, kitted out with a complete boat care department comprising mechanical engineering, painting, FRP work etc. They also broker local yachts, and can do gardienage. There is a RIB rental department. They have onshore storage facilities for smaller yachts and ribs.
This is a general yacht gardiennage and management company, employing its own staff to look after and repair yachts in Alcudiamar, Mallorca (not Mahon, Menorca!). Yacht engineering, painting, and all aspects of maintenance/repairs addressed, including rigging and sail loft. They also have an inland yacht storage yard in Ca´n Picafort for boats of up to 12 meters.
This full service company in Portocolom takes care of the boat handling and shore storage in the marina, and offers a complete range of boat maintenance and repair activities, from mechanical engineering to hull repairs via boat cleaning and painting. There is a brokerage section; the company stocks a good range of spare parts.
They have a self loading boat transport truck able to carry up to 20 tons and do dry stacking and vacuum covers for smaller speedboats and ribs.

English is also commonly spoken especially in the most touristy islands and Tahiti.
The local currency is the Pacific Franc (xpf or cpf).
Its value is linked to the euro so its conversion into euro is always the same: € 1.00 = xpf 119.332.
Euros and dollars are only accepted in touristy places.
Banks are open from 7:30 am to 4:00 pm. They are closed on Saturday and Sunday, except some of them which are open on Saturday morning. In Papeete, they are open at lunchtime but usually close for one hour between 12:00pm to 1:00pm elsewhere.
There are ATMs around most of the islands where you can withdraw cash with the usual international credit cards.
