Watersports, Kitesurfing and Windsurfing in Cape Cod

Cape Cod boasts some of the steadiest and strongest winds in New England, making it a first class windsurfing and kitesurfing destination. Located on Buzzards Bay, in Falmouth West, Chapaquoit Beach in Falmouth is considered one of the best windsurfing spots on the entire coast. Old Silver Beach is one of Falmouth more popular beaches and also a great windsurfing spot.

A short walking distance from Hyannis Marina is the wonderful Bay View Beach. Kalmus and Veteran beaches, located on the Lewis Bay at the end of Ocean St, are also local favorites.

Hiking in Cape Cod

Easily accessible by foot or bike from Falmouth center or marinas (heading west), Beebe Woods (located on Beebe Acres Rd) is a 650 acre estate featuring trails, ponds and woods.

The trail winds up to Peterson's Farm, off Woods Hole Rd, which maintains public paths through meadows and fields, where sheep and llama roam.

Historical Walks around Boston

Boston is a great ‘walking’ city, fun to explore by foot from the waterfront promenade to shady parks and streets lined by distinctive red brick buildings. Most of the marinas are located in the very desirable North End district, a really charming and historic neighborhood, with a maze of alleys and streets filled with Italian pastries, restaurants and old buildings.

Old Boston Tours offer very interesting guided tours of the oldest parts of the city.
