Over the last years, Immersion Caraibes has been recommended by numerous Captains who used their services for themselves and the crew during a long break in Martinique; and also for visiting guests and owners. Located within a colourful wooden shack inside the Marina, this diving school run by the very friendly Christophe is open to any “a la carte” suggestion. Christophe speaks very good English and will personally take his clients to all the best spots in Martinique. As a true sea lover, he likes to share his passion with others.

Macintosh is a well established company that has two plantations on the North and lush part of the island, one in Macouba and one in Morne Rouge and exports their flowers all around the world. This fuel bunkering service has supplied a large number of Superyachts passing through Martinique in the last few years. They provide the top quality fuel, with extra low sulphur content, at a very competitive rate. Professional and reactive, they can handle last minute orders and deliver with trucks from the commercial harbour in Fort de France. They are also working to start a pipe service to the Marina du Marin (although it might not be in service yet for this season). They can receive payment by wire transfer or credit card.

This hairdresser, situated on the main road across from Le Marin Marina, (close to Ti Toques restaurant) is now very well established and a local and visitors favourite. Many crewmembers have used the services of Stephanie and Corinne, who run the place, and warmly recommended them. They specialize in ‘caucasian’ hair, speak a little English (enough to understand what one wants!) and are a lot of fun. Plus it’s quite trendy for Le Marin!

The very well known French chain of hardware stores has the largest store in the Caribbean - in the commercial zone of Le Lamentin, very close to the airport. Here it is like the ‘Aladdin’s Cave’ for any engineer or crewmember arriving in Martinique, who were not even suspecting that such a facility could exist in the Caribbean. Basically anything can be found there, from tools to bulbs, electrical supplies, deck furniture, lamps, plumbing items… and more.

Last season again, we received a whole round of recommendations for this wonderful beauty parlor - just 5 minutes away from Marin Marina, in the direction of St. Anne. Manager Kathy, who is originally from the Grenadines, and speaks English as her first language, has created a well being sanctuary that is very popular among Superyacht crews and guests alike. Here, you can indulge yourself in an atmosphere of sheer serenity, and the treatments include facials, body wraps, manicures, pedicures, waxing, massage and more!

For any yachts in Le Marin or St. Anne, this waterfront restaurant really makes for an enjoyable run ashore. From their lovely waterfront setting, on the beach of Pointe Marin in St.Anne their highly friendly staff serve delicious French / Creole cuisine, in a very pleasant ‘Key West’ ambience.
They specialize in seafood and have live lobsters. Restaurant owner Madi Ouzid came highly recommended again last season, for his helpful approach and friendly service... and we picked up specifically good feedback for their 'Conch Ceviche' and their lobster ‘flambée au rhum’!

This heavenly hideaway, located in the country hillside of Le Francois, on the Atlantic coast is one of the nicest hotel / guest houses in Martinique. They have recently undergone a complete transformation, and the existing accommodations in Creole cases (cottages), painted red, purple, and subtle earth tones, have been enlarged, soundproofed, completely refurnished, and given updated bathrooms and terraces that maximize the glorious sea view.

This is one of Martinique’s highlights and may be the most popular and lively restaurant on the island! Ideally located just across the road from Marin Yacht Harbour Marina, this great place is open non stop, 6 days a week (closed Mondays). They serve a delicious choice of creative French Creole cuisine and the menu, written on a black board, changes daily. It also includes home made pizzas and delicious and artistically decorated desserts, especially molten chocolate cake or crepes.
